Course Zoetermeer

In 1999 I started as a teacher at the Vrije Academie Zoetermeer. After a merger this became the CKC and we moved to a new building.

The glasscourse in Zoetermeer deals with cold techniques such as glueing, cutting and sandblasting as well as warm techniques such as fusing in a kiln. You will find the CKC at Leidsewallen 80, near the old village on walking distance from  Randstadrail 3.

The CKC wants to be a school for recreation. It is possible to take different courses on a level that gets higher. Season 2011/2012 bring basic courses on saturdaymorning  (9.30 – 12.00 uur) or saturdayafternoon (13.00 - 15.30). The next level brings  lessons  for advanced on wednesdayevening  (19.45 - 22.15 uur). Eventually one can work in the studioclass on wednesdayafternoon (14.45 – 18.45 uur). This is 1,5 hours longer than normal classes but these hours are without a teacher present.

Most groups have two teachers, swapping after half a year. This season Martine started on saturday and has switched to wednesdayafternoon in January. The other glass teacher is  Audrey Soudant.

For applications I refer to the CKC.
